Is ransomware going to reach new heights in 2022?
That is the question indeed!
As new versions and methods are constantly developed, and infamous ransomware gangs such as White Rabbit and BlackCat are emerging every week, companies are more vulnerable than ever to experiencing such an attack. Given the severity and volume of ransomware attacks conducted in 2021, we strongly believe that proper cybersecurity and awareness should be a top priority for organizations of all sizes.
But hey! We have some good news too! In January, Russia and the USA teamed up and, the former announced it had ended the criminal activities of the REvil ransomware gang and got some of its members arrested.
