Invitation to Participate in
ASME Investment Analysis Subcommittee

Invitation to Participate in ASME Investment Analysis Subcommittee

If you have knowledge/experience in conducting an investment analysis or in collecting data for investment analyses and are interested in being part of this new subcommittee, please contact douglas.thomas@nist.gov.

This will be part of the Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing committee (MAM) at ASME. There are a number of accepted methods for investment analysis; however, there are no known standards that firms can cite or consult for conducting such an analysis. Additionally, many manufacturers and/or their staff members do not have the technical knowledge to conduct such an analysis. This subcommittee will work to develop standards to guide manufacturers and their staff members in conducting and collecting data for investment analyses. Members of the subcommittee meet monthly and contribute to and/or review standards/guides for investment analysis.
