In preparation for her career as in real estate, Ms. Blume attended Portland State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in social science in 1985. She continued her education and professional development by graduating from the REALTOR Institute and becoming a Licensed Realtor in both Oregon and Washington. Since 2020, Ms. Blume has found success as the owner and operating principal broker of Keller Williams Realty Portland Elite in Clackamas, Oregon. Previously, she served the same company as a broker and operating principal.
Prior to her current posts, Ms. Blume was a real estate broker with PDX Realty, and served as the owner and builder of Silver Eagle Homes. In addition to her primary career pursuits, she is a participant in the Associate Leadership Counsel and chair of the Office Borderless Mastermind Group. Ms. Blume also maintains her affiliation as the chair of the Multi-Million Dollar Club with the East Metro Association of REALTORS since 2013. She is a member of the National Association of REALTORS.
For her accomplishments as a real estate professional, Ms. Blume was named a 5-Star Real Estate Agent by Keller Williams Realty Portland Premiere in 2013, and earned second place for Realtor of the Year with the East Metro Association of REALTORS for seven consecutive years. She considers bringing people together to be her most significant personal achievement, and she is known among her friends as a "go-giver." Ms. Blume remains in touch with the day-to-day operations of her business, and considers her transparency and ability to share and care for others to be some of her greatest assets.
Ms. Blume was raised in the construction business, as her father worked in construction. She found the business fun and engaging, and she learned from helping her father remodel houses. While in high school, she worked for a builder, and decided to pursue the business professionally. After the Great Recession, her construction business waned, and she transitioned into real estate after 15 years in the construction industry. Ms. Blume credits her hard work and persistence for her career success, and in the coming years, she hopes to prepare her children to take over her business.
