Recording Now Available: The Path to End-to-End (E2E) Verifiable Protocols for Voting Systems Workshop Thank you to those who registered for the Path to End-to-End (E2E) Verifiable Protocols for Voting Systems Workshop, held October 6th and 7th. The event recording is now available. This workshop brought together election officials, implementers, researchers, and advocates to discuss end-to-end (E2E) verifiable voting systems, an emerging technology to support the auditability of voting systems. Earlier this year, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), in collaboration with NIST, announced a plan to develop a process for evaluating these systems under the recently revised Voluntary Voting System Guidelines, Version 2.0. During this two-day workshop, participants learned about E2E verifiable voting systems, and four panels discussed potential benefits of these systems, challenges with evaluating, developing, and using them, and potential next steps for the process.
