Monthly Bulletin View Online

Reflecting, making resolutions, planning... Yes, the beginning of a new year is the perfect time for all that and more. 2022 was indeed a year full of challenges, discoveries, and wins, but more importantly, it was the year you realized how terrible the consequences of a cyberattack can be and why cybersecurity should be a top priority for your organization.
That being said, let's take a look at some of the end-of-year statistics. Based on Heimdal®'s 2022 data:
government, health, and transportation were 16.3% more at risk of a ransomware attack compared to other industries.
23% of connections to networks are malicious. Therefore, the focus should be on security awareness training and endpoint protection.
100% of organizations that reported brute-force attempts were conducting fewer third-party patches or had more legacy OS software.
Read on and discover more trends & predictions for 2023, news, webinars, articles, and videos in Heimdal®'s December newsletter.
We wish you a safe and secure New Year!
