Updates: US-UK PETs Prize Challenge & Privacy-Preserving Data Sharing and Analytics Dear Colleagues,
We have exciting news to share! At President Biden's second Summit for Democracy last month, the United States and the United Kingdom announced the winners of the US-UK Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) Prize Challenges. Co-sponsored by NIST, the challenges helped drive innovation in privacy-preserving federated learning to better harness data to solve societal challenges while reinforcing democratic values. In addition, the White House recently released the National Strategy to Advance Privacy-Preserving Data Sharing and Analytics. To learn more, check out the document.
