The Lakota are still here, despite determined efforts to wipe them out.  And they are still fighting hard to defend and reclaim their homeland. There is now a new holiday on June 25, Pine Ridge Greasy Grass Victory Day is a 'A proud day to be Lakota' [1]. This first celebration featured a parade and games, to honor the memory of the victory and the fighters who were there. Best wishes to all of my Lakota friends! Fight on!
