It's 6:00 now. If I meditate until 6:20, then I'll have until 7:15 before I need to leave, which is 55 minutes ... plus I want to stretch, and make coffee, and publish a blog post, all of which generally takes a little more time than anticipated ... so maybe it's OK if I just stop the meditation after 15:00 or even 10:00 ...
This is just one example of one typical train of thought that occurs during a meditation for me.
But guess what?
Whenever I do choose to stick through them, they tend to vanish.
Those few minutes of peace after they do are worth it.
