After spending some quality time exploring the surface of who my followers are, most of you tune into improving health, often with a spiritual inclusion, and often in tune with cannabis.
A solid handful of you are fellow artists, from poetry through imagery into sound.
A couple of you are connected to science.
There are also a lot of questionable accounts, with many seemingly engaged in walking the path of the scam.
Within our community here, I find wonderfully fascinating people, and that meets my appreciation.
As someone over a half-century old, I solidly experienced the world before the internet, and it was challenging to find information. While there was video content, we usually relied upon printed materials that we had, or a library to visit -- or just trusted someone providing that information in our social circle.
Flipping the script, the internet swapped us into the ability to access so overwhelmingly much information easily, the still-lingering challenge to find information falls inversely upon the overabundance and often-lacking credibility encountered, as many people seem driven to spin the narrative at the expense of the whole truth, of which we should be adapting.
In terms of overwhelming information quantity, it is like eating a filling meal, and then having someone ask you to eat way more all of the time (with dominating amounts of nasty ingredients to boot).
Of course, many people follow just in an attempt to secure a follow back (with some even unethically unfollowing afterwards).
In terms of basic mental capacity, the human brain did not change much with the immersion of the internet, so we are all better off cultivating a small number of healthily deep social connections, and using critical thinking to determine source credibility. Think globally, and act locally.
I treat information consumption similarly to food. Keep it as healthy as possible to stay mentally 'lean and mean'.
I try to minimize my online contribution, with respect to a healthy information intake for us all, which we all need for healthiest living.
My primary focus is upon sharing my innovative audio technique called spacemixing. That will continue to include predominantly meditatively friendly music, as it at least helps me try to heal my own wounded mind, while hopefully helping others do the same.
However, balance is key. Permanently transcending into positivity is impossible within a balanced reality. Anyone restfully meditating (i.e. resting the thinking mind to instead simply feel the totality of reality itself) experiences that this is a perfectly balanced reality.
We need some discomforting imperfection in life for balance. We need mental flexibility for best adapting to life challenges.
My spacemixing spans a range of emotions that more fill the spectrum of possibilities, obviously with the bias of my subjectivity towards the music that makes an impact upon my offbeat life. In short, there will be offbeat and negatively emotional content at times.
While I will always express what I feel is right, I pay attention to constructive criticism, so feel free to respectfully let it fly.
My goal is to deliver a result here that takes up a small amount of your time (e.g. 10-20-ish minutes weekly) -- always preferring to enhance your sense of the value of your life, as may be needed.
It would be nice to achieve a healthily trim social aspect to it all, instead of just receiving some likes, but it is more important for you to stay true to yourself, while I continue to do the same.
Stay healthier.
