Good morning…as you all know, Jimmy Buffett passed away a couple days ago. He was a huge part of my life growing up, my Daddy being a real "Parrot Head" …Jimmy Buffett was always playing on the 8-Tracks…or as the technology changed, Buffett Live videos tapes on the VCR.
This is a great loss in my house, it is like part of my childhood is gone. And while rewatching the video I've embedded below, Jimmy Buffett Live At The Bay, so many memories come flooding back. So just take a look at some of these tributes and obituaries then I will post some cartoons.
Just a few pictures of Jimmy Buffett:

Jimmy Buffett's music brought happiness to millions of people. I'll always be grateful for his kindness, generosity, and great performances through the years, including at the White House in 2000. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and legion of devoted fans.
The soundtrack of my youth, gone. The first time I saw Jimmy Buffett was in 1975, a small venue with none of the pageantry he later incorporated in his shows, I knew immediately he was very special. Lucky to have attended many more shows through the years. #RIPJimmypic.twitter.com/Mu4AtgTSBt

So here's one of Jimmy's best concerts…recorded in 1985…Jimmy Buffet: Live At The Bay!
Thank you for so many memories Jimmy, my time spent with my daddy was with your songs playing in the background. I hope you finally found what you were looking for behind "Door Number Three."
Now the cartoons:
That is all for me…have a safe Labor Day holiday…this is an open thread
