This week, I'm truly honored to be a guest on the BEMA podcast.
About a month ago, I had a terrific conversation with BEMA co-hosts Brent Billings and Elle Grover Fricks about my work with elders with dementia, my convictions about the value of people living with dementia, and how others can get involved in caring for elders if and when God calls. Elle and Brent were considerate and thoughtful, and I'm grateful to them for guiding the conversation with such skill and grace.

What is BEMA?
In case you're not familiar with it, the BEMA podcast is an outstanding course that covers the entire Scriptures, looking at God's full story arc in historical context as followers of Jesus (spoiler: God loves his creation, especially us). There are 5 main sessions on the Scriptures, and then the podcast continues with three more seasons (and counting) that cover various topics with guest speakers.
To be honest, it's the only podcast I listen to on a regular basis. I've learned so much from BEMA's primary teacher, Marty Solomon ... and I've only just started Session 3!
My deepest thanks again to the BEMA team for a great chat ... and to my son, Sam, who told Marty about my work 😇
Peace be with you,
