I really didn't wanna see it, thought it was just, like, a Diehard wannabe. But we did go yesterday, because we needed a rainy day entertainment to replace our usual clay pigeon shooting. And I thought it was great! First of all I ❤️ Sam Rockwell, whom I first saw in Jojo Rabbit. Very cute and sexy. But the amazing thing is the structure of this movie, about a spy story novel writer who finds herself hunted, we the audience think at first because her novels are eerily predictive. But it turns out they arent; they're…history! She herself is haunted by her own literary creation, the improbably handsome spy Argylle. The story switches perspective dizzyingly, classic who-can-she-trust suspense, involving the heroine, her parents, the CIA..but in the end, the "third wall" comes crashing down in the last twenty seconds of the movie ! Oh it's spectacular! if you see it, share your thoughts with me please! | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
