“I fell off the wagon, again.” If you’ve ever said or felt this, I have a question for you: If ‘the wagon’ means ‘eating healthy &/or exercising for a short while’ then why do you think that happens? Is it because you didn’t see or feel enough results during that short phase? Or is it because you resumed the ‘slippery slope’ or indulging a bit too much, perhaps little by little and then progressing towards a lot, and/or the slippery slope of skipping one day of training, and then skipping some more … Or both - lack of results + slippery slope? It’s usually some combination of both of those, plus maybe 1-2 other critical factors, such as perhaps a triggering life event or stressful time period.
