I have days that do NOT go as planned, just like you. Things get messy, balls get dropped, & time flies by. I have a plan for days like that. I may skip the gym. Or maybe I’ll just do a calisthentics. I may not meditate. Or maybe I’ll take 1 deep breath, or sit for 3 minutes. I may not cook. Or maybe I’ll make something quick.
