People tell me this regularly. They say things like, “I’m mentally lazy.” “I know I should ____, but I just don’t it.” I say, maybe. I mean, if you tell yourself that all the time, then I’m sure you believe it. Which, for you, makes it true. But I don’t believe it. I believe you can instead say “I was lazy today.” Or, “I don’t feel like _____ today.” How you speak to yourself inside your head matters, very much. Changing that language from permanent to temporary (which, in reality, is correct, because all behavior is temporary) helps. Checkout my free community: Fit Over 40. What’s inside?
