People tell me this regularly. They say things like, “I’m mentally lazy.” “I know I should ____, but I just don’t it.” I say, maybe. I mean, if you tell yourself that all the time, then I’m sure you believe it. Which, for you, makes it true. But I don’t believe it. I believe you can instead say “I was lazy today.” Or, “I don’t feel like _____ today.” How you speak to yourself inside your head matters, very much.
