Do you eat or drink things that you hate because you heard they were bad for you? For example I had a client tell me they were drinking almond milk in their coffee, even though they hated it, to avoid the insulin spike. This is a classic example of falling prey to a social media trap that is designed to scare you. And let me be clear - it’s not entirely your fault because these videos are very well designed to play on your psychology. AND they’re going to keep getting scarier & better at scaring you. UNTIL you learn to recognize that this kind of thing is complete BS. Don’t major in the minors. In fact, I wouldn’t even call ‘insulin spike from one ounce of almond milk’ a minor; it’s not important at all, not even .00000001 %.
