US mutual ILS fund strategies raise assets and grow

First, Embassy Asset Management with the Ambassador catastrophe bond fund strategy that has increased its AUM to just over $607 million at this time. Next, Stone Ridge Asset Management, as its assets under management across mutual ILS and reinsurance fund strategies reached $5.8 billion, which is now the highest level they have sat at in more than six years. Finally, the combined assets under management of the mutual insurance-linked securities (ILS) funds managed by the Pioneer Investments team have now roughly doubled in the last year, to almost $2.16 billion. As you might expect, catastrophe bonds are the main growth asset for all of these strategies, but there are signs of growth in interval strategies that allocate to private sidecars and collateralized reinsurance as well.
