Now you can ‘get your protein' in a drink at Starbucks. To be consistent with my teachings, this is neither good nor bad; it depends. I recommend getting the majority of your protein primarily from whole foods. Using beverages, shakes, smoothies, etc., can be a good secondary option when needed. Plus, the quality matters. It’s worth noting that Starbucks explicitly chose not to publish where the whey protein isolate they are offering comes from, and what practices are used on the farms where those cows are raised. Personally, I only use whey protein isolate products from sources with a high degree of transparency, such as Transparent Labs or Kion. Thanks for reading!
