Do NOT be afraid of a food unless you KNOW that the dose of that food is harmful for you. And I put the word KNOW in capitals because that kind of knowledge is very specific. For example, the following statements do not constitute evidence-based knowledge: - Oats are for horses - Blood sugar spikes are bad for you - Look how long this ingredient list is etc. etc. Here's the good news: You don't have to spend time on PubMed or get a degree in nutritional biochemistry to figure this out. You just have to follow a few tried & tested, evidence based principles and then customize to what works best for you.
