The Department of Commerce's technology transfer report for FY21 has been published with highlights on the successes and milestones from NIST, NOAA, and NTIA ITS.

NIST staff are in the process of reviewing the NIST Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR) phase one proposals. Small businesses have an opportunity to receive funding to advance their research that aligns with a NIST technical program. Learn more about the NIST SBIR program here.

Description: This invention uses photonics-based nanosensors with µK-level temperature resolution. It is almost completely unaffected by mechanical shock or thermal stress, which will enable ultra­ high resolution thermometry to be readily deployable to industry customers.
