Fears and uncertainty grips Zamfara State as Election Petition Tribunal set to deliver judgment between the executive governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal Dare vs ex governor Bello Matawalle. The ex governor Matawalle is challenging the declaration of Dauda Lawal as the duly elected governor. In a twist of event recently, an ally of ex governor Matawalle who doubled as owner of an online TV, Thunder Blower , Anas Anka claimed that Yari has been in talks with the judges handling the election petition case . He was alleged to have bribed the judges huge sums to favour Matawalle.

"According to Anka, Yari has equally doled out over 100m to the state House of Assembly Members to facilitate the impeachment of Dauda.

A Kaduna base public commentator has call for thorough investigation over this huge allegation involving judges. He emphasis that anything that will shortchanged the will of the people will be resisted. The people of Zamfara have spoken loudly, they have made a sacrifice by booting out APC led govt in the state . " going through the backdoor to bring back ex governor Matawalle will meet with stiff opposition, we will never allow them to take power again Aliyu added.
" I am an indigene of Zamfara, from Kaura Namoda, "our people are happy with Dauda style of leadership. Yari, Matawalle have done nothing in the state . They will never hold any office again in Zamfara.

" under Yari's led administration he has wasted 8 years without achieving any meaningful development, so as well Matawalle he equally goofed. " they both lacks skills and focus to administer the state . " The insecurity our state is facing is as the result of bad governance of the duo of Yari and Matawalle.
" We are happy having Dauda Lawal at the helms of affairs, very humble , articulate, focus , competent and skilfully. Within his first 100 days he was able to achieve so many things ie construction of roads in Gusau metropolis, payment of WAEC and NECO fees among other things . " we are very optimistic so many goodies are on the way .
