Wouldn't you think that the "better alternative" could have been developed and available during the last nine years so Americans could evaluate the plan before anyone votes this year? By the way and most important to understand … Obamacare does not provide health care, it is insurance provided through many different insurers. It is no different than employer insurance or Medicare for that matter. Just like both these programs, the cost is subsidized by government collected taxes. More so in Obamacare than employer and Medicare insurance. If Obamacare is too expensive it is because the subsidies to millions of Americans are too generous. That is true in many cases, but do individuals relate that to their personal situation? Lower the subsidies and millions of Americans pay higher premiums, some become uninsured.
