Track cat bond issuance including the pipeline of new deals We've updated our chart that tracks the amount of catastrophe bond market issuance by year and the outstanding market size, to now also include the forward-pipeline of new cat bond deals that are scheduled to settle over the coming days and weeks. In response to feedback from readers, we wanted to make it easier to visualise and analyse how the current pipeline of new cat bond issuance might affect the annual total. We've also changed the visual for the outstanding cat bond market size to better represent growth and make it simpler to distinguish between issuance and risk capital outstanding by year. Remember, we update these charts as new deals emerge, as they settle and also as maturities roll-off risk. You can use the chart key to activate and deactivate certain data series. So if you want to just view issuance, or only the size of the market, simply click the key entries to remove and add back in different data points.
