Food is not complicated. These things are complicated: Biochemistry, psychology, behavior change, identity politics, disordered eating, cultural influences, addiction, the human body, medicine, sickness, disease … … but not food. Food is just … food. Lately I see far too much overcomplication around ‘what should I eat’ and not nearly enough simplification. If you are confused about what to eat then perhaps you’re listening to too many overcomplicating voices. Just remember: you’re the one holding the remote control.
