I mostly teach a gradual, ‘baby steps’ approach to losing weight … … but I lost the bulk of my weight taking the faster, ‘huge leaps’ approach. Back in 2007, I did the 30-day Paleo Diet challenge. That required a complete cleaning out of my pantry and a full month of massive change to how I shopped, cooked, and ate. I eliminated dairy, gluten, and grains … and still abstain from gluten today. I wondered yesterday: Have I been too gentle with people? Aren’t they capable of more change, faster? Some people are. If they are, I give them more to do.
