This summer I’m doing and extra 3 sessions per week of sprinting & endurance training - short sessions, less than 30 minutes each, at high intensity. When we train our hearts at the max heart rate zones (Zones 4 & 5) we set ourselves up to live as long as possible. That’s not the only thing to do for longevity by any means, but, if you’re not doing any of it, reconsider. And of course, feel free to ask me if you’re not sure how to structure this, no matter what fitness level your currently at. Because Zone 4 or 5 is your Zone 4 or 5, not mine.
