Sometimes it’s good to have a quest. For example, I mentioned yesterday that this summer I’ll be doing more sprinting training. I’ve known for a long time that I should be doing more of this. I’ve heard it on podcasts. I’ve read it in books. But I didn’t really start it as a regular part of my regimen until I had a specific quest come up. What’s the quest I’m talking about? To see if I can get myself fit enough (at 45 years old) to pass our local high school’s varsity soccer fitness test. It’s tough! I’ve done other kinds quests before; 30-day diet challenges, achieving certain goals in the gym, doing courses, etc. Your quest of choice will be different. But being on one, big or small, can help things move forward. You can join my nutrition & fitness Coaching Community here. Connect with me on: LinkedIn | Instagram | YouTube | X |
