ILS funds average 2.05% return for H1: ILS Advisers | | | Cat bond funds lead at 3.02% H1 2025 return, private ILS funds average 1.01%: ILS Advisers Catastrophe bond funds have outpaced private ILS funds included in the ILS Advisers Fund Index for the first-half of 2025 and across the group of 37 constituent insurance-linked securities (ILS) funds tracked by the Index, the average return for the six months was 2.05%. The California wildfires have been the main detractor from first-half performance for the ILS fund sector, but had that event not occurred in January the sector would have tracked to a return of around or even above H1 2024.
