If you’re over 40 you’ll remember AM/FM radio dials like this:

Dialing in your health works kind of the same way.

Your Favorite Station

If you don’t like country music then you won’t stay tuned to the country station.

If you don’t like fish then you won’t stick with a Mediterranean diet.

If you don’t like lifting weights then you won’t stick to a bodybuilding program.

But there are many good diets & exercise programs that work.

It’s about finding the ‘station’ that you love.

Getting A Clear Signal

Depending on your location & device the radio signal was not always clear.

You would have to ‘tune’ by slowly turning the knob left or right with fine adjustments.

Figuring out your diet & exercise works just like this.

You & I may love the same foods, but we won’t cook & shop at the same stores, in the same way, or at the same times.

The reality is that you already know which foods are healthy.

Discovering a healthy routine that locks in and clicks is the hard part.

Feel Like Dancing?

I don’t want to beat this radio analogy to death, but it’s also true that:

You can like more than one station (style of eating, exercise, etc.).
You can listen to (incorporate) them all.
Your tastes (and needs) can & will change with time.

When you have your routine dialed in, it is like hearing one of your favorite songs.

It just feels good.
