| I used to be the guy who looked forward to the Super Bowl just so I could eat and drink as much pizza, beer, comfort food, & junk as I could handle.
For those who knew me in those days, it was a lot!
Events like the Super Bowl were just excuses for me to eat 2-3X more of the foods I was already eating all the time.
I still love to eat a lot - and I still love the Super Bowl.
My love for food and eating hasn’t changed.
What has changed is my 𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘴 & 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺.
The old part of me that love to eat are still here.
But the new version of me knows how 𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 feels.
It feels way better than what I used to feel from eating crappy all the time.
Because I consistently eat well more often now, I am able to:
(1) Eat a lot and never be hungry (2) Eat 'for fun' during fun events without worry
When you shift your food identity, everything changes.
