This week we reported on a rare US wind cat bond issuance during the hurricane season, as American Coastal secured $25.5m of protection from a new Armor Re deal.
In addition, a new private cat bond also emerged, as the Artex Axcell Re platform issued a $20m deal.
Marsh is aiming to bring alternative sources of capital into the digital infrastructure risk transfer sector, through a $10bn property insurance exchange named Stratus.
