Here's our latest Friday wrap-up of key news from the week.
There were further additions to the cat bond market pipeline this week, including the return of Florida Citizens with a new $450m Everglades deal.
Also returning was Swiss Re, with its latest Matterhorn Re cat bond through which is seeks named storm retro.
One first time sponsor also emerged, as Mangrove Property Insurance entered the cat bond market for its debut.
The Asian Development Bank's first two directly issuance cat bonds have now been priced for the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.
Tower Hill Insurance secured the upsized $375m of limit from its new Winston Re cat bond, while American Coastal Insurance secured its targeted $200m cat bond under Armor Re II.
Fermat Capital Management's John Seo believes catastrophe bonds will have a role to play in providing risk capital to support the data centre build-out.
While, Euler ILS Partners sees a $1bn opportunity to source capital to support a sidecar of data centre risk.

In other stories this week, Chubb CEO Evan Greenberg called out supply-demand factors that are softening the property insurance market at a pace he called “dumb”.
Speakers at the recent SIFMA ILS conference said the sector can be a significant beneficiary of the revolution in artificial intelligence (AI).
Broker Gallagher Re said at least $115bn to $125bn of cat losses would be needed to shift the property pricing trajectory.
Asset manager Eaton Vance has benefitted from the strong return environment in ILS and reinsurance sidecar investments.
Suncorp has entered into a five-year aggregate reinsurance arrangement providing up to $2.4 billion in total protection across the term.
Bermuda's ILS market keeps growing, with solid momentum in SPI and collateralized insurer registrations in the first-quarter of 2026.
