Hannover Re aims to bolster North American retro with $200m 3264 Re 2025-3 cat bond Hannover Re is back in the catastrophe bond market looking to bolster its North American peak peril retrocession through a new 3264 Re Ltd. (Series 2025-3) issuance that has an initial target of $200 million and one tranche of which utilises a multi-section approach to provide targeted protection. Beazley Bermuda "a strategic investment irrespective of the phase of the cycle": Peel Hunt Beazley's move to establish a new Bermuda operation is seen as "a strategic investment irrespective of the phase of the cycle" by analysts at Peel Hunt. They also highlight how this can increase access to third-party capital. Beazley partnering with established ILS player on Bermuda cyber ILS fund: CEO Cox During a capital markets session with analysts Beazley's CEO Adrian Cox revealed that the firm's plans to broaden into cyber insurance-linked securities (ILS) through its new Bermuda branch is actually a joint-venture with an established ILS market player with a platform on the island. Blockchain reinsurer Re deploys $134m in reinsurance capital for Jan renewals Blockchain-backed reinsurer Re has announced the deployment of $134 million in reinsurance capital across multiple programs as the industry begins to head into the key January renewals season. King Ridge Cat Bond UCITS ETF to list on three major European exchanges The UCITS exchange traded catastrophe bond fund (ETF) that is being launched by specialist investment manager King Ridge Capital Advisors LLC is set to be listed on three major exchanges under the ticker symbol CATB. Sage Advisory aims to boost portfolio resilience with Cedar Trace ILS partnership Following its entry into the insurance-linked securities (ILS) space through its partnership with Cedar Trace Group, Sage Advisory Services is looking to expand its range of investment solutions. The company aims to offer investors new sources of return with low correlation to traditional capital markets and business cycles. Cincinnati Insurance targets $150m Skyline Re II multi-peril catastrophe bond Cincinnati Insurance Companies has returned to the catastrophe bond market for the first time since 2017, seeking $150 million or more in fully-collateralized reinsurance from the capital markets with a Skyline Re II Ltd. (Series 2025-1) deal that will cover certain losses from multiple US perils.
